How It Works Header

At a Trivia Blast event the audience is seated at tables. Each table selects a team captain and a "creative" team name which reflects the personalities at the table. After an entertaining warm-up, host Doug Grunther explains how the game works: each round consists of 12 specially designed trivia questions. After each question is asked, team members huddle together, decide on an answer, and the captain writes it down on the official Trivia Blast score sheet. Questions are carefully selected to stimulate brainstorming, camaraderie and team work. And some of questions can relate specifically to the theme of your meeting or event.

In between the rounds, Doug leads the teams in "Groaners," "Brainstorm This," and other specially designed formats which stimulate creative thinking and communication skills. Audience members become the stars of the show.

Doug can provide a choice of formats ranging in duration from one hour and fifteen minutes to two and a half hours. Or he can adapt Trivia Blast to meet a more specific team building or entertainment need.

Set-up is very easy: round tables that seat 4-8 people; a stage or raised platform; a podium; and a wireless microphone. Also 2 volunteer score keepers who meet with the host briefly before the program starts. The score keepers have their own table to the side of the stage.
